Welcome Address

dr photoEnvironmental Pollution is a magnified problem in different African countries, resulting in sever biological consequences and adverse health effects on animals and human. Over the past seven years, with sincere efforts from our Japanese partners (Professor Mayumi Ishizuka, Professor Yoshinori Ikenaka and all stuff members of Graduate School of Veterinary Medicine, Hokkaido University) and great funding from Japanese Society for Promotion of Science (JSPS), we succeeded to  held International Toxicology symposium in Africa and establish our consortium to discuss hot environmental issues in Africa. As a result of this symposium, many young African researchers had good chances to improve their scientific knowledge and skills by attending our annual conference.

Fortunately, this year the 8th International Toxicology Symposium will be held in Egypt and co-hosted by Zagazig University, Egypt and Hokkaido University, Japan. We take this chance to acknowledge JSPS for funding and to welcome all invitees from Japan and different African countries. We hope to enjoy your stay in Egypt and have fruitful discussions to find good solutions and recommendations to minimize the risks and hazards of Environmental pollution. Welcome to Egypt.
